Giving Hair Volume
Saturday, January 31, 2009
As a girl with oily and straight hair, what I fear most is having my hair taped to my scalp, flat and lifeless. How do I overcome that? Easy. You will need:
- A towel
- A blow-dryer
- A comb/brush (if necessary)
- Something to hold your hair
When you get out of the shower, take some moisture out of your hair with a towel. This will make the blow-drying process later take less time.
Next, flip your head upside down so it's pointed towards the ground and blow dry normally in that position. Comb it through if there are tangles at this point.
After your hair dries, if you stand up straight again, you will see that your hair has a LOT of volume. Get some hair styling/holding product and scrunch it through your hair. Don't worry if your hair looks
huge right now. It'll settle down a bit.
Enjoy! Save that time in the morning for sleeping ;D
